Novena

Novena of Prayer
Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate

Format of prayer for each day of our Novena:

  • Come Holy Spirit
  • Novena Prayer
  • Salve Regina

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful. Enkindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and renew the face of the earth. Amen.

Let us pray:

O God, you teach the hearts of your faithful by the light of your Holy Spirit; grant that by the gift of the same Spirit, we may be always truly wise and rejoice in your consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Mary Immaculate, faithful Mother of Jesus, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, inspire within us the same generosity and gratefulness that were yours, while pondering the mysteries which you treasured in your heart.

Grant that I may ever live in union with all who by prayer and service, give honour to the most Holy Trinity. Amen.

Novena Prayer

Almighty God, source of love and forgiveness, hear our prayers.
With the help of Mary, our Mother,
may we continue to live in your love.
May we always be open to forgive
for you have forgiven us.
Jesus, source of our vitality,
help us to love as we are loved.
Give us generous hearts
that we are faithful in your service.
Remember our loved ones,
they are in need of your presence.
Mother of Jesus and our Mother,
we place ourselves in your care.
Help us to share your very own dream, life and commitment.
Stir in us your wholehearted dedication at the
birth of your Son and our Brother.

(Here mention your own prayer requests.)

Mary, come to the aid of all
united in this Novena of Prayer.
With you we will be one
with your Son.
Mary, wife of Joseph and
Mother of Christ,
be our Mother also.
All through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Salve Regina

Hail, Holy Queen,
Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To thee do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do send our sighs,
mourning and weeping
in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy towards us;
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.

Praise be Jesus Christ
and Mary Immaculate.
